To be Launched in Oct 2019,this Deluxe AC Train will operate on TWO different Rajasthan circuits of 4 Nights duration each from New Delhi/New Delhi -both covering Forts & Palaces of Rajasthan. The Majestic Rajasthan Tourist train will only operate between last week of September till first week of April & departs from New Delhi on limited Mondays of the Month.
The concept of Majestic Rajasthan Tourist Train r is that overnight you travel from one destination to another, on-board the centrally air-conditioned Deluxe Category train & in day-time enjoy pre-arranged sightseeing tours. It is only in limited destinations that you are taken to Hotel Rooms to freshen up.
Guest have choice to book Sleeper Berths either 2nd AC Sleeper Or 1st AC Cabins. The Package Cost of train tour includes Daily Three Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) & bed tea/coffee service with Group sightseeing Tours by AC Deluxe Buses with Guide & monument entrance fee included. Some of the meals are served off-board in Hotels ,during sightseeing Tours . It is only in Jaipur(one day) ,that Guests have the facility to visit Hotel room to freshen up.
The Majestic Rajasthan Tourist Train Tour is of Deluxe Category & CANNOT BE COMPARED to other luxury train tours like PALACE ON WHEELS etc. covering Rajasthan .This Tourist Train is targeted towards Upper Middle Income travellers, who want to experience journey across Rajasthan with pre-arranged sightseeing tours in a clean, secure & comfortable environment and WITHOUT either Partaking long Road Journeys Or Avoid Daily Hotel Room check in/check out.
Facilities On Board
The Centrally Air-Conditioned Majestic Rajasthan Tourist Train is of Deluxe Category & Guests options to book Sleeper Berths in either 2nd AC Sleeper (only sharing) Or 1st AC Cabins(either on sharing Or exclusive basis).. There are Two Dining Cars on board the train, where freshly cooked meals from On Board Kitchen are served. There are Two Dedicated attendants, servicing Each Saloon/Carriage & there are separate attendants for service in Dining Rooms. There is no privacy in 2nd AC Sleeper ,BUT in 1st AC Cabin you have choice to either share cabin with 3 other persons Or book 1st AC Cabin on exclusive basis .In both 2nd AC Sleeper -& 1st AC Cabins & there are two upper & two lower cushioned berths & bedding is provided for night journey .In 1st AC Coupes (where only 2 persons book to travel) there is One Upper & One Lower berth. There is NO BAR Facility on the train. Thirty Passengers in One Saloon/Carriage have to share Two Common Showers & Two Toilets facility All guests are allotted private safes & w-fi facility is only available in Dining Cars . For 2nd AC passengers ,there is limited facility of cushioned chairs next to French size windows. There are adequate security guards on board the train, to ensure that regular train passengers DO NOT board this Tourist Train. The Majestic Rajasthan Tourist Train is owned by Indian Railways & its operations are handled by IRCTC. The carriages of this AC Tourist Train were built in October 2018.

Both the Journeys of Majestic Rajasthan Tourist Train operate from New Delhi/New Delhi over 4 nights duration, Departing from New Delhi on limited Monday mornings of the month. While three destinations of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer remain COMMON in both journeys, ONLY DIFFERENCE being

The Tourist Train departs from New Delhi on Monday Morning to cover 19th century built Colourfully painted Havelis in Shekhawati region ( Mon Afternoon) ; Oasis in Desert-Jaisalmer Golden Fort town (Tue) ; Fort Town of Jodhpur(Wed); Pink City of Jaipur(Thurs) ; before returning to Delhi on Friday Morning.

- To process booking ,From Foreign Passport Holders we require their Passport Copy AND Indians can forward Any Govt. Issued Photo Id Residence Proof (viz Either Passport Or Aadhar Or Driving Licence etc.)
- in case of Children < 12 yrs. –travelling with you, we also require their date of age proof
- Booking will be confirmed on receipt of 25% advance deposit of total ticket value (inclusive taxes) & Balance Payment must reach us at least 40 days before depart.
- Option to pay either by Swift Wire Transfer Or Credit Card Or NEFT/RTGS Bank Transfer
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellation request must be made in writing & acknowledged by us
- Bookings cancelled more than 48 days will attract 10% (ten) levy on gross value of ticket cost
- Bookings cancelled between 47 days & more than 18 days before train tour depart will attract minimum 25% (twenty five) levy on gross value of ticket cost
- Bookings cancelled between 17 days & more than 10 days before train tour depart will attract minimum 50% (fifty) levy on gross value of ticket cost
- Bookings cancelled less than 10 days before train tour depart will attract full 100% levy on gross value of ticket cost
- Changes in Journey Date OR Names of Passengers will be governed by Cancellation Rules
- It is mandatory For All Foreign Passport Holders ,to have Indian Visa ,prior to boarding flight to India
- The Train Tour Operator(IRCTC ) reserves the right to cancel scheduled depart due to low occupancy OR technical reasons & in such a case You will be pre-informed on GIVEN CONTACT DETAILS
- in case train tour gets cancelled full 100% refund will be MADE of advance received for train tour booking ( with zero cancellation fee)
- But if scheduled train tour gets cancelled by Train Tour Operator, we at Royal Indian Trains CANNOT be held liable to COMPENSATE for any cancellation charges towards Air Tickets /Hotel Booking/Tour Insurance/Visa charges/Mental Harassment suffered by you etc.

- Majestic Rajasthan Tourist Train is operated by IRCTC ( Commercial Wing of Indian Railways & all complaints regards tour package services need to be addressed to office of Managing Director IRCTC ,based in New Delhi ( India)
- Royal Indian Trains is only PSA-IA Authorized Booking Agent of Majestic Rajasthan Tourist Train & our liability is accordingly limited to that of Booking Agent Only
- Disputes(if any) are subject to jurisdiction of Courts of New Delhi, India only
