The centrally air-conditioned-Deccan Odyssey train offers passengers to travel in comfort of luxuriously furnished Deluxe Cabins & Suite Cabins with attached bathrooms. Other on board facilities include Dining Car Saloons,Bar Lounge,Aryuvedic Spa,Mini Gymnasium & Conference Saloon The concept of luxury train tours in India is,that overnight you travel from one town to another in comfort of private sleeping chambers & enjoy pre-paid group excursions in each tourist town with services of English Speaking Guide.You have option to book Deluxe Cabins & Presidential Suites.(both with private attached bathroom)

Note:
- Add 5% Govt. taxes extra.
- Above costs are on per cabin basis.
- The Presidential Suite offers a master bedroom with single large bed and attached.
- Third person (adult) can travel in the Presidential Suite @ US$ 8925 + 5% tax.
- This Luxury Train Tour offers a sophisticated adult atmosphere; the tour management does not recommend travel for Children below the age of twelve.
Train Tour Cost Includes:
- Overnight travel onboard train in the comfort of richly furnished private A/C sleeping chambers with ensuite bathrooms.
- Daily three meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) with packaged drinking water, tea/coffee service & non-alcoholic beverages.
- Valet service
- Complimentary wi-fi.
- Entrance fees For monuments & jungle reserves.
- City sightseeing tours for guest in Deluxe cabins is by air conditioned buses with English speaking guide (except in Ranthambhore game drive via Canter)
- For Guests in Presidential Suite - Private A/C Cars with English Speaking Guide are arranged for City Sightseeing Tours (except by Jeeps in Ranthambhore).
Exclusions (Extra costs not included in train tour tariff):
- Govt. taxes & insurance.
- Optional use of spa facility or laundry services.
- Gratuities – Tips or porter fee.
- Video & professional still camera fees.
- Any activity mentioned as optional in the tour journey.
- Air tickets.
- Transfer to & from the railway station on start & end of itinerary.
Booking Terms & Conditions
- The booking will be confirmed on the receipt of 25% advance deposit of published ticket value
- Balance 80% payment must reach us at least 50 days before the departure date with the reservation form.
- In case booking request is made less than 50 days of the departure date, we will require a one-time full advance deposit to confirm booking.
- Prices are subject to vary in the event that the itinerary is altered or if there are additional costs, such as fuel or taxes.
- Deccan Odyssey Train Tour is Jointly OPERATED by Tourism Department of Maharashtra State Govt & The Royal Journeys (A unit of Ebix Cash)
- Liability of Royal Indian Trains is limited to that of booking agent only.
Booking Procedure:
- Advice preferred date of journey & number of Passengers & Cabin type required, to check availability.
- We require Passport copies of all passengers to process booking.
- Payment can be made by credit card, debit card OR SWIFT wire bank transfer.
- Booking confirmed at the time of payment (required amt. as per no. of days prior to the depart date) deposited in our account.
Cancellation Rules:
- Request for cancellation must be made in writing & acknowledged by us.
- Nil Cancellation fee – if Cancellation Request received more than 63 days prior to train tour depart.
- Minimum 20% of published ticket value (inclusive taxes) will be charged as cancellation fee , if request received between 62-48 days prior to tour depart.
- Minimum 50% of published ticket (inclusive taxes) value will be charged as cancellation fee , if request received between 47-33 days prior to train tour depart.
- Full 100% of Published ticket value(inclusive taxes) will be charged as cancellation fee - if request received less than 32 days prior to train tour depart.
- In case Train Tour Operator decides to self-cancel the scheduled train depart- refund can only be made once the money is received back from said Train Tour Operator.
- Royal Indian Trains reserves the right to charge & deduct US$ 100 Per Person as bank processing fees, while making the refund.
- Refund will be made as per Indian Rupees exchange value received from you.
Important:
- All foreign Passport holders need to pre-apply for Indian Visa, before boarding flight from their respective place of residence.
- There is no provision to issue Tour/Travel insurance policy from India & guests are advised to pre-purchase the same from the country of origin of travel.
- Disputes (if any) are restricted to Jurisdiction of Courts of NCR Delhi (Gurgaon) only.

Extra Costs (not Included) :

- Laundry, Alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages, taxes, tour insurance, use of spa facility ,gratuity & tips
- Pre & post train tour hotel accommodation OR Railway station transfers
- Air fare & Visa arrangements for India.
- Applicable Taxes
- Any other expense of personal nature.
Booking Procedure:
- Advice date of travel & number of cabins required
- Forward scanned copies of passport of all the passengers to process booking request
- We require minimum advance deposit of 20% of total ticket value to confirm booking
- Balance amount must reach us before 45 days of tour depart with passport & visa copy
- Booking request made< 45 days before tour depart will be confirmed on receipt of one time full tour amount deposit.

- Indian Nationals can pay in equivalent INR rupees by RTGS/NIFT Transfer
Cancellation Terms:
- All cancellation requests must be forwarded in writing & acknowledged by us
- Nil cancellation fee if booking cancelled more than 61 days prior to train depart
- Minimum 20% cancellation fee levy on total ticket value if informed between 46 days to 60 days prior to tour depart
- Minimum 50% cancellation fee levy on total ticket value if informed between 45 days to 31 days prior to tour depart
- Full 100% cancellation fee levy on total ticket value if informed less than 31 days prior to tour depart
- In case of No show, failure to join the train tour, refusal to continue with train journey -for whatsoever reasons, the tour amount is non refundable
Important:
- Coxs & Kings,India is the principal train tour operator of Deccan Odyssey Train Tour & liability of Royal Indian Train is limited to that of booking agent only.
- Due to technical reasons, If Principal train Tour Operator( Coxs & Kings) decides to cancel your train tour depart, you will be immediately intimated by e-mail & Liability of Royal Indian Trains is ONLY limited to refund advance amount received from you for booking train tour ticket value.
- Royal Indian Trains bears no further liability to compensate financial loss & mental agony (if any ) suffered by you on account of cancellation of air tickets/hotel bookings/visa arranged by yourself -if train tour depart is cancelled by Principal Train Tour Operator
- In case of booking being cancelled by you ,Royal Indian Train reserves the right to deduct Bank Processing Fee at time of making overseas refunds
- It is mandatory for All Foreign Passport Holders to obtain Indian Visa prior to boarding International Flight
- Disputes, if any, are subject to jurisdiction of courts of New Delhi(India) only & liability of Royal Indian trains is limited to that of booking agent only.
